Fodor's Review:

Built to harmonize with the land, the Huhugam Heritage Center mixes cool modern architecture with red earth, and as a whole is an impressive new way of looking at the past. Named for the tribe from which the modern-day Akimel O'odham (Pima) and Pee Posh (Maricopa) tribes descended, the small museum and education center is a celebration and collection of arts, culture, and history of the native people of the Gila River.
