The attention to quality paid by the husband-and-wife proprietors here—he manages, she cooks—has made this one of the town's top dining spots. The inventive menu changes daily, depending on what's fresh. If you're lucky, you might come on a day when the kitchen has made posole, a mouthwatering broth with hominy, salt pork, and cabbage. Entrées might include quail, chicken with toasted polenta, scallops with edamame tomato relish, grilled sea bass, handmade pasta, or vegetarian antipasto.

Food was not at all impressive. Had lamb chops that were tasteless. My wife had their handmade pasta dish. So so was the evaluation. Prices here are not moderate. Look elsewhere.

Several years ago we ate at this very nice restaurant but had not had occasion to be near again until now. Both my wife and I had absolutely delicious dinners. She had "Alf's scallops" and I had lamb chops. They were as good as any entrees either of us have ever had! And the atmosphere was warm and friendly, the service excellent! This place is a bit hidden in a small shopping mall but it is well worth finding!
