Desert Caballeros Western Museum

Fodor's Review:

The Desert Caballeros Western Museum has one of the best collections of Western art in the nation with paintings and sculpture by Remington, Bierstadt, Joe Beeler (founder of the Cowboy Artists of America), and others. Kids enjoy the re-creation of a turn-of-the-20th-century Main Street that includes a general store, period clothing, and a large collection of cowboy gear.

  • Cost: $7.50
  • Open: Mon.-Sat. 10-5, Sun. noon-4
