It's always exciting to find an outstanding one-of-a-kind restaurant in a town that has more than its fair share of chain establishments, and Cyclo is just that. The friendly and gracious owner Justina Dwong is as much a draw as the well-prepared Vietnamese food. Try the bánh xéo, a crispy, turmeric-yellow crepe filled with juicy bites of pork and shrimp, or crispy cha gío, a spicy lemongrass chicken. A French-inspired, jasmine-scented crème brûlée provides a perfect ending to the meal.

I have the good fortune to enjoy this restaurant whenever i choose....and i choose it often. I am a devout supporter of independent food etablishments, and Cyclo is a perfect example of an owners heart and soul served daily to welcomed guests. The decor is simple with a hand painted wall length mural on one wall done by the owner Justina...a few booths and several tables setting in a somewhat dark, sparse single room. But this decor hints your in a place that makes the food and service first priority....not glittzy decorations. Everyone is treated like a regular, you can bring your own beer and wine (no corking charge) and enjoy some excellant food. Justina will assist you if it's your first time in selecting a menu choice. The menu is limited and everything done well. Desserts are little works of art and perfect with a pot of hot tea. Service is excellent and if your lucky enough to be there before the dinner rush you can sit and linger with your friends and wine and enjoy the interractions with Justina..she is almost a floor show herself at times with her constant interacting with guests....she is a genuinly warm person. Service for our group of four with appetizers..entrees and dessert is always under $50.00.
