Fodor's Review:

When Wyndham took over this former Crowne Plaza, the chain invested $6 million to create an appealing mix of classic comfort and modern accommodations. Ideally situated for all things downtown (but little else) the hotel stands, with very little competition, in the center of bustling Copper Square within 1 mi of Heritage and Science Parks, America West Arena, Chase Field, and the Arizona Center. It's also near the light-rail and downtown renovation construction, which, although tedious, gives it a more appealing price tag. Spacious rooms with subtle Southwestern tones are designed for the business traveler, and are relatively quiet (in spite of construction), and well-lit with large desks and ergonomic desk chairs, but they're also kid-friendly, comfortable, and convenient for pro baseball and basketball fans, as well as theater, symphony, convention, and celebrity concertgoers. Coffee junkies will enjoy the on-site Starbucks.
