Fodor's Review:

The Windy City chain is famous for exceptional service, immense steaks, and entertaining tableside presentations, but most of all for consistency. If you've been hankerin' for a great, aged prime steak, you won't go wrong here. The monstrous 24-ounce porterhouse or 14-ounce double-cut fillet can satisfy the hungriest cowpoke. The seafood is excellent, too, but plays second fiddle to the beef.

I visited the Camelback Location over the weekend to celebrate my girlfriends 30th Birthday. I called the restaurant and they asked me if I was celebrating a special occassion and I said yes Ashley's 30th Birthday. She certainly was surprised when she saw the menu personalized with her name on it and then one of the managers came over and took a picture which thay gave to us framed before we left the building. We enjoyed the best dinner and took advantage of their steak and seafood promotion, the caesar salad was amazing, the filet tender, served with the largest shrimp ever, Ashley enjoyed the Crab Cake, the Macaroni & Cheese was stellar as was the Grilled Asparagus. But the most amazing dish was the Hot Chocolate Cake which was presented on a plate with Happy 30th Birthday Ashley on it, the dessert was great, the server Stephen was very pleasant and the dinner for 2 was only $99. I would reccomend this restaurant to anyone.

I recently ate dinner at this restaurant and the food was wonderful. The service was a bit slow. We had to wait quite a while for a server to come and take our drink orders and tables that were seated after us received their bread several minutes before we did. The atmosphere is nothing special, but the food makes up for the deficits in the service and environment.
