Mrs. White's Golden Rule Café. This downtown lunch spot is the best place in town for true Southern cooking. Every entrée -- from fried chicken to pork chops -- comes with corn bread, and the peach cobbler is legendary.

This food was delicious; interesting decor with the menu written crooked on the wall with marker; but you can't beat this food.RATING: 4.6
