Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art

Fodor's Review:

When you step through the immense glass entryway and stroll through the spaces within the five galleries, you realize it's not just the spacious outdoor sculpture garden that makes this a "museum without walls." New installations are planned every few months, with an emphasis on contemporary art, architecture, and design. Free, docent-led tours are conducted on Thursday at 1:30. SMoCA, as it's known locally, is connected with the Scottsdale Center for the Arts.
