Fodor's Review

This informal but elegant restaurant is lovingly decorated with whitewashed walls, hardwood floors, and imported Greek artifacts. Search the menu's two pages of appetizers for taramosalata (caviar blended with lemon and olive oil) and saganaki (cheese flamed with brandy and extinguished with a squirt of lemon). The moussaka (lamb casserole) is wonderful, and don't forget dessert (try galaktoboureko, warm custard pie baked in phyllo). If all

you seek is a sweet treat and some genuine Greek coffee, visit the adjoining Cafestia European dessert and coffeehouse.

Dining in Greece without the jet lag

This family-owned restaurant serves great food in a beautifully decorated restaurant. Once inside you forget you are in Phoenix, and think you been transported to Greece. Foder's review is correct, the galaktoboureko is outstanding. The lamb entrées are perfectly seasoned.

transported from 19th and Camelback to the Greek Islands by just stepping through the door.

This restaurant is without a doubt the closest thing I have found to those I visited in Greece than any other i have been to in the States. The decor allows you to forget completely that you are in a grubby little strip mall in Phoenix (with the exeption of the TV on over the bar)and the food is incredible. The waitstaff are all friendly and passionate about the food they serve. Even the chef will spend time at your table and is happy to answer any

questions. On every visit, every morsel has been a delight. The menu includes the more commonplace Greek fare but also offers dishes like Taramasolata and Fig mousse which are impossible to find in many restaurants this side of the Atlantic. In short, the Food is wonderful, if a little pricey, the staff are so friendly and accomodating that they sometimes border on clingy and the decor is lovely. In my opinion this is hands-down the best Greek Restaurant in the Valley.

Ooopa for Greekfest!

This is my favorite local Greek restaurant. The food is delicious. The service top notch. And the atmosphere pleasant and relaxing. Always recommend those who are looking for great Greek food to Greekfest.

Terrible service to suplement the subpar food.

It's easily the worst Greek resteraunt I've ever been to. The menu is uncreative and overpriced. The waitor seemed to forgot I was there.
