The Boulders Resort and Golden Door Spa Review

One of the country's top resorts—and one of the few with an all-organic approach—hides amid hill-size, 12-million-year-old granite boulders and the lush Sonoran Desert. Casitas snuggled against the rocks have exposed log-beam ceilings and curved, pueblo-style half walls. Each has a patio with a view, a wood-burning fireplace, and a spacious bathroom with deep soaking tub. An upscale mall, el Pedregal Marketplace, adjoins the resort, and there are two golf courses. The Golden Door spa is one of the best in the state.
