Two miles east of Sky Harbor Airport, nestled in among desert buttes at Interstate 10 and U.S. 60, this hotel joins dramatic architecture (the lobby's back wall is the volcanic rock itself) and classic Southwest design (pine and saguaro-rib furniture, works by major regional artists) with stunning Valley views. If rejuvenation is your goal, the Buttes includes the Naranda "Revive" spa facility. "Radial" rooms are the largest; inside rooms face the huge free-form pools with waterfall, hot tubs, and a poolside cantina. The Top of the Rock restaurant is elegant.
