Fodor's Review

You can visit a well-preserved complex of 13th-century Salado cliff dwellings at this site. There's a self-guided walking tour of the Lower Cliff Dwellings, but if you can, take a ranger-led tour of the 40-room Upper Cliff Dwellings, offered on selected mornings from November to April. Tour reservations are required and should be made as far as a month in advance.
