Drop by this unassuming storefront eatery in Kingman's historic downtown for tender, perfectly seasoned and smoked barbecue. Pulled pork sandwiches, Cajun-style andouille sausage platters, and racks of hickory-smoked pork ribs are favorites with sides of mac 'n' cheese, baked beans, and chunky potato salad. There's also smoked chicken pot pie on Thursday and barbecue meat loaf on Friday. Six rotating beers, including selections from local Black Bridge Brewery, are on tap.
This popular spot—even Oprah and Gayle King stopped here—serves up road food with a '50s flair for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The jukebox spins favorites, and tributes to Elvis and Marilyn Monroe adorn the walls in this old-fashioned diner decked out in bright turquoise and hot pink. Expect moderate prices on burgers, milkshakes, and the root beer that is made on-site.
This two-story brewery taps up to 25 beers crafted on-site, from the easily drinkable Birdcage Blonde to the much more potent Fruity Bruty, a raspberry imperial stout. The pizzas, which have medaled in international pizza competitions, are just as much a draw as the brews.
