KTNN radio (660 AM), the Voice of the Navajo Nation, serves the Hopi and Navajo reservations from studios in Window Rock. Some programming is in Navajo, but there are news and weather reports in English; its "sister" station is KWRK, at 106.1 on the FM dial. Another radio station you might tune to for news and weather is KOB (770 AM, 107.3 FM, or 97.9 FM). For the boater's emergency band, dial Channel 16 on the marine band.
