Navajo Village Heritage Center

Fodor's Review:

The Navajo Village Heritage Center imparts an understanding of life on the reservation. You can take a guided tour of a traditional Navajo hogan and bread oven. For $55 per person (or $150 per family), the village hosts a 3½-hour "Evening with the Navajo-Grand Tour," which includes two hours of cultural entertainment and a Navajo taco dinner around a campfire. Less extensive (and expensive) versions of the tour are also available.

  • Cost: $5
  • Open: Apr.-Oct., daily 10-3
