About 20 miles west of Hubbell Trading Post on AZ 264 is an immense, jutting peninsula of stone that resembles an early steamboat, complete with a geologically formed waterline. At Steamboat Rock you are only 5 miles from the eastern boundary of the Hopi Reservation.
