Northeast Arizona Restaurant Reviews

Northeastern Arizona is a vast area with small hamlets and towns scattered miles apart, and there are few stores or restaurants along the highway. With the exception of Page, which has more culinary variety, most of the region's restaurants serve basic but tasty Native American and Southwestern cuisine. Navajo and Hopi favorites include mutton stew, Hopi piki (paper-thin, blue-corn bread), and Navajo fry bread. Navajo tacos are fry bread piled with refried beans, ground beef, lettuce, tomato, scallions, cheese, avocado, sour cream, and salsa. Top the fry bread with butter, honey, and confectioner's sugar for a delicious dessert.
