Getting Here And Around in Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park
Getting Here And Around
It's impossible not to drive slowly on this park's bumpy roads, which are best conquered with an SUV or all-wheel-drive vehicle (especially during rainy times of year), but if you take your time and exercise caution, you can make the entire drive in a conventional car. If in doubt, inquire at the drive's entrance gate. Call ahead for road conditions in winter. The park is just off U.S. 163 north of the Arizona/Utah border and very well marked.
