Shugrues Hillside

Shugrues Hillside Review

Almost everything is good here—including the red-rock views from every seat, which have made this one of the most popular restaurants in Sedona—but the salads and meats are particularly noteworthy. The Caesar salad is refreshingly traditional, and the inventive ginger-walnut chicken salad is large enough to share. Rack of lamb and filet mignon are prepared and presented simply, and there's a small, well-priced wine list. Full entrées include soup or salad; smaller à la carte selections are lower priced. Service is friendly rather than formal, and dining views don't get much better than the upstairs deck.
