Flagstaff and Prescott have the more affordable lodging options, with lots of comfortable motels and bed-and-breakfasts, but no real luxury. The opposite is true in Sedona, which is filled with opulent resorts and hideaways, most offering solitude and spa services—just don't expect a bargain. Reservations are essential for Sedona and suggested for Flagstaff and Prescott. Little Jerome has a few B&Bs but call ahead if you think you might want to spend the night. If you're in for a thrill, many of the historic hotels in north-central Arizona have haunted rooms that can be booked on request.
