Emergencies in Grand Canyon

Emergencies

In case of a fire or medical emergency, dial 911; from in-park lodgings, dial 9-911. To report a security problem, contact the Park Police (928/638-7805), stationed at all visitor centers. There are no pharmacies at the North or South Rim. Prescriptions can be delivered daily to the South Rim Clinic from Flagstaff. A health center is staffed by physicians from 8 AM-6 PM, seven days a week (reduced hours in winter). Emergency medical services are available 24 hours a day.
