Lake of the Woods Resort

Fodor's Review:

Janet Pierson was so taken with Lakeside after her first visit that she and two friends decided to buy Lake of the Woods Resort. Situated on the resort's private lake, guests can fish for trout, hike, rent a boat, and enjoy the natural surroundings of the area. Novice fishermen take note: Pierson and crew stock the lake a half-dozen times a year with trout. It's almost as easy as shooting fish in a barrel.
