Reed's Lodge Review

It's an older motel, but a town favorite. The rooms of this mostly single-story lodge have Western accents such as knotty-pine paneling and Navajo-print bedspreads. Perks include a recreation room with pool table, video games, and a pinball machine; a gift shop; and bicycles that are free to use. Enjoy coffee, tea, cocoa, or cider every morning. Proprietor Roxanne Knight will arrange visits for guests on a working (not dude) ranch, cattle drives, horseback adventures, four-wheel-drive tours, wildlife- and petroglyph-viewing trips, or fossil-hunting expeditions.
