Two cardboard figures of John Wayne in full cowboy regalia are perched on a walkway above the lobby, and his photos decorate the walls. But don't let "The Duke" motif scare you away—the rooms and service here are excellent. Wayne did in fact stay here (when it was a Ramada Inn), and the room in which he slept has been converted into a plush suite.
