Sunrise Park Resort Review

Catering to those who want to be as close as possible to the lifts, this hotel has comfortable rooms with ski racks and runs a shuttle to the slopes every half hour. Save with a lodging-and-lift-ticket package. The VIP Suite, with a wet bar, refrigerator, microwave oven, and hot tub, comes with two lift tickets that grant the holders line-cutting privileges on the slopes. In summer you can enjoy boating on Sunrise Lake, "3-D" archery, scenic chairlift rides, horseback riding, and mountain biking on designated trails. Plan ahead, because the lodge closes twice a year: from the end of ski season until Memorial Day weekend in spring and then again in fall from mid-October until the first heavy snowfall.
