Fodor's Review

One of Tok's nicer lodgings, Burnt Paw has seven comfortable, sod-roofed cabins—each with two beds, a private bath, a microwave, a refrigerator, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and adorable sled-dog puppies. Yes, puppies. One of the few spots in Tok that's open year-round, the place also has a popular gift shop, where you can find Alaska jade, gold, Native crafts, quality apparel, sled-dog equipment (and an equipment exhibit), and puppies.
