Fodor's Review

At the northern end of the bay, this is an ecofriendly camp that has been running half-day to multi-day bear-viewing trips for 22 years. Guests stay in rustic yet comfortable heated platform tents or heated cabins and enjoy gourmet meals in an enclosed kitchen. This is true wild bear viewing: no platforms, just the scenery and the bears, who are very much at home. The price tag for a one-night introductory tour includes a round-trip floatplane fare from Homer, meals, lodging,

and naturalist guide services.
