Kulik Lodge Review

Positioned along the gin-clear Kulik River, between Nonvianuk and Kulik lakes, this remote wilderness lodge is reachable only by floatplane. It accommodates up to 28 anglers and is popular as a base for fly-out fishing to hot spots in the surrounding Katmai wilderness. Guests stay in two- or four-person cabins with electricity and private baths. In the evening, when fishing's done for the day, you gather in the spruce lodge, which has a large stone fireplace, dining area, and bar. Three-, four-, or seven-night packages include airfare from Anchorage, meals, cocktails, lodging, and guiding.
