Fodor's Review

This little restaurant and inn serves some of the finest crepes in Alaska. The delightful proprietor, Yvon, is known to throw together fantastic French dinners for parties that call ahead. If you're lucky, you'll taste his quiche lorraine or chicken cordon bleu and have something tremendous to write home about. Crepe options range from a savory one with creamed beef and spinach to a sweet one with strawberries, Nutella, and whipped cream. Other desserts include éclairs

and crème brûlée. Le Barn Appétit is open daily for breakfast and lunch. Dinners can be arranged by phone a day in advance. Leave a message, and Yvon will call you back promptly.
