By Air in Inside Passage

Alaska Airlines operates several flights daily from Seattle and other Pacific Coast and southwestern cities to Ketchikan, Wrangell, Petersburg, Sitka, Glacier Bay, and Juneau. The carrier also connects Juneau to the northern Alaska cities of Yakutat, Cordova, Anchorage, Fairbanks, Nome, Kotzebue, and Prudhoe Bay. Several local airlines, including Wings of Alaska and L.A.B. Flying Service, can connect you from Juneau to towns, including Haines and Skagway.

Most communities in Southeast Alaska have air-taxi services that fly you from town to town and, if you're seeking backcountry adventures, into remote wilderness cabins. Local chambers of commerce can provide lists of bush-plane services.
