Hammer Museum

Fodor's Review:

The Hammer Museum is Haines at its most peculiar; check out this one-of-a-kind shrine to hammers on Main Street. The owner started his collection decades ago and founded the Hammer Museum—the world's first—in 2001. Among his impressive collection of 1,800 hammers are a Roman battle hammer and 6-foot-long farming hammers used to secure posts into the sides of barns.
