Sgt. Preston's Lodge

Fodor's Review:

This four-building lodge—which feels more like a motel—occupies a former army barracks. Some rooms are spacious and revamped, while others feel dated and cramped. All are priced accordingly, and the lodge's downtown location and proximity to the cruise and ferry docks (a short walk to each) make it a good choice for budget-conscious travelers. The owners also have four apartment suites ($150 per night) that are ideal for families or larger groups.
