Seven miles north of town, and just ¾ mi from the ferry terminal, this popular Tongass National Forest campground has a mix of sites for car campers, backpackers, and RV travelers. All sites have tree cover, and facilities include tables, grills, potable water, and vault rest rooms. Everything is fully ADA accessible, and group sites include a covered cooking shelter. Campsites are open year-round, though snow may limit vehicle access in the winter months.
