The Narrows Inn

Fodor's Review:

Three miles from the center of town and ¼ mile north of the airport parking lot, the Narrows is a modern lodge where rustic wood trim enlivens the small rooms. Waterside rooms, including three spacious suites, have balconies overlooking Tongass Narrows—a good place to watch seals, otters, and eagles. The Inn offers a courtesy van to anywhere within the city limits, but if you don't feel like riding into town for dinner, the Inn is also home to a delicious steak-and-seafood restaurant. Thornlow's Waterfront bar offers free binocular usage for patrons.
