Housed in a former gas station, this year-round restaurant is known for its comfort food specials, such as meat loaf or stuffed pork chops with mashed potatoes and gravy. (Friday is prime rib day.) The huge calzones are stuffed and served piping hot with sides of house marinara and ranch dressing—build your own or choose one of the chef's creations, like the Chicken Hawk Squawk with pineapple and jalepeños. Or do like the Skagwegians do and wash down one of the 14-inch pizzas with a pint or two of Alaskan Summer Ale. For dog-tired travelers who can't walk another block, the Pizza Station delivers for free.
