The Arctic Brotherhood was a fraternal organization of Alaska and Yukon pioneers. Local members of the Brotherhood built the building's (now renovated) false front out of 8,833 pieces of driftwood and flotsam gathered from local beaches. The result: one of the most unique buildings in all of Alaska. The AB Hall now houses the Skagway Convention and Visitors Bureau, along with public rest rooms.
