Juneau, the Inside Passage, and Southeast Alaska Hotels

Ripley Creek Inn

  • Nice decks and views from rooms

  • Somewhat noisy
  • Not much to do in immediate area

Fodor's Review

Stewart's best lodging option covers five historic downtown buildings. All rooms are bright, with mission-style and antique furnishings; some rooms have sofa beds, decks, and glacier views. The main building also houses Toastworks Museum, run by the inn's owners, a repository of antique toasters and other kitchen gadgets that doubles as a breakfast spot. Toastworks is only open in the high summer, usually from mid-June through August. Guests at Ripley Creek have free access to bicycles for exploring the small mining town.
