McKinley Creekside Cabins & Creekside Café Review

This nice spot sits on 10 acres along Carlo Creek. There are creekside and mountain views of the Alaska Range. The property is pretty much surrounded by hiking trails. Most rooms include a refrigerator, microwave, and coffeemaker; some have large decks. Family cabins, which accommodate up to six people, are also available. Picnic tables and Wi-Fi add to the property's attractions.

McKinley Creekside Cabins & Creekside Café Review

Fantastic location just south of the main park entrance. But, the address is wrong, Fodors! It's actually at Mile 224 not 238.

The cabin was bigger than expected with a private bath, which was great. Staff was okay. We had no hot water for the first few hours we were there and they seemed to know this and "forgot" to fix it. Other than that, our stay was good and I'd recommend it for a low cost alternative to some of the other local properties.
