The bay windows of this fine-dining restaurant atop a forested hillside present a panoramic view of the surrounding Alaska Range foothills. The Perch serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, offering home-baked breads and desserts along with steak and seafood; the Panorama Pizza Pub also serves soup and sandwiches. If you're looking for a quiet, quality sit-down meal away from the crowds of Glitter Gulch, this restaurant is about 13 mi south of the park entrance. Cabin rentals are year-round (summer rates are $125 with a private bath, $85 shared, with breakfast included; call for winter rates).
