A favorite of the suit-and-tie lunch crowd, Kumagoro has traditional Japanese lunches and a take-out deli with such specialties as herring roe on kelp, and a sleek sushi bar (dinner only). The best items on the dinner menu are the sizzling salmon or beef teriyaki, both served with miso soup and a salad. With the shabu-shabu dinner ($39 for two people), you cook your own meats and vegetables in a stockpot of boiling broth. Inexpensive homemade ramen soups are also available. All entrée prices include a 10% gratuity.

Excellent Food when served...Server overworked and ditzy, forgot half our order. Could not get her attention, and she didn't care. Manager brought our check (with only half of the order served) while we wanted to order more. Server never came. We left. Awful experience. Could have been wonderful.
