Windows overlooking Cook Inlet vistas, along with the high ceilings and a classic brass-and-wood interior have long made this an Anchorage favorite. The menu includes prime rib (aged 28 days), pasta, and sesame chicken salad, but the main attraction is seafood: fish is blackened, grilled, fried, or prepared any other way you like it. Try the king crab legs or the grilled ahi tuna with ginger-and-mango salsa, and, for dessert, the Brandy Ice: vanilla ice cream whipped with brandy, Kahlúa, and crème de cacao. The bar is a great spot for microbrews, single malt scotch, and martinis; the best tables are adjacent to tall windows facing the water.
