The park strip at 9th Avenue and C Street has several tennis courts. On the south side of Anchorage, the Dimond Athletic Club (800 E. Dimond Blvd., at Old Seward, South Anchorage. 907/344-7788) has a lap pool, Nautilus equipment, free weights, saunas, hot tubs, steam rooms, and racquetball courts, plus various exercise classes. You can buy a daily guest pass for $15.
