Mulcahy Stadium. Two summer baseball teams made up of college students—the Bucs and the Glacier Pilots—play at Mulcahy Stadium, right off the Chester Creek Trail. With tickets only $5, it's an excellent option for a summer evening in town. The games can get intense—many athletes have gone on to play in the major leagues—but the setting is relaxed, with innings played under evening sunshine amid sweeping views of the Chugach Mountains. The short season lasts from June through July. E. 16th Ave. at Cordova St., Downtown, Anchorage, Alaska, 99501. www.anchoragebucs.com/view/anchoragebucs/our-mission-15/mulcahy-stadium.
