Walls of windows embrace Inner Harbour views at the Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort's flagship restaurant. Seafood-loving locals and hotel guests book window-side tables at sunset to watch the lights come on across the water: the large, comfortable, but bland room with upholstered chairs and beige walls doesn't even try to compete with the view. The food puts on a good show, though, with elaborate presentations of locally sourced fare. Sooke trout, wild salmon, and B.C. halibut top a menu that also encompasses Cowichan Valley duck and coriander-crusted lamb loin. Breakfasts and spa menus are highly rated, too.
