Volunteers passionate about the history of flight have lovingly restored several dozen historic military and civilian airplanes, and even re-created a 19th-century flying machine at this museum near Victoria's International Airport. Pre-computer flight simulators, flight attendants' uniforms, a World War II-era aviation radio set (tapped into the action at the real airport next door), and memorials to Canadian military aviators are displayed in the museum hangar and tarmac outside. Volunteers conduct tours, which take about an hour.
