Victoria's newest art gallery opened in 2007 to display some of the 1,600 paintings, sculptures, and antiques collected by the late Michael Williams, the owner of Swans Hotel. Rotating exhibits in the 3,000-square-foot space comprise mostly Canadian works, including many by First Nations artists, but international painters are represented, too. The gallery doubles as a quiet café, serving coffees, sandwiches, wraps, and baked goodies.
