On a rocky promontory above Chesterman Beach, with open ocean on three sides and old-growth forest as a backdrop, this cedar-sided inn has exceptional First Nations and coastal art. Every room in this Relais & Châteaux property has an ocean or beach view, balcony, soaker tub, and fireplace; the Ancient Cedars Spa offers hot-stone massages and couples massages in oceanfront treatment rooms; yoga classes run daily. The glass-enclosed Pointe Restaurant ($$$$) has views of the crashing surf and is renowned for its Pacific Northwest cuisine; chef Tim Cuff makes the most of local oysters, wild mushrooms, Dungeness crab, Pacific salmon, and regionally sourced farm produce. Pros: The inn is spectacularly sited on a headland at the end of a superb crescent beach. Cons: It's pricey, no pool.

"The Wick" was the most romantic places we have visited. The service was incomparable and the room with a view of The Pacific was just breathtaking. We can;t wait to go back...

A friend of mine reccomended this hotel, and I agree! A beautiful hotel, beautiful views, and a great beach! The village is a jewel! The staff were great! I LOVED THIS HOTEL! I just cancelled my vacation to Australia next year, and decided to stay here instead!
