Fodor's Review:
Picnic sites, a playground, tennis courts, beach volleyball, a restaurant, take-out concessions, Vancouver's biggest outdoor pool (open May-September), and some fine people-watching can all be found at Kits Beach. Inland from the pool, the Kitsilano Showboat, an outdoor amphitheater, hosts free music and dance performances in summer.

- Open: Pool: late May-mid-June, weekdays noon-8:45, weekends 10-8:45; mid-June-Labor Day, weekdays 7 AM-8:45 PM, weekends 10-8:45; Labor Day-mid-Sept., weekdays 7 AM-7:15 PM, weekends 10-7:15
