Fodor's Review:
This funky Cajun and Creole restaurant sits on a street lined with antiques shops, bookstores, and galleries. Perch at the bar, order a martini and hush puppies, and chat with the resident psychic. Whimsical knickknacks adorn every inch of the place. Dining rooms on two floors offer a market-driven menu. Fortunately, there are some constants -- bayou chicken (southern fried, with dark and spicy sauce); cracker catfish (a fillet coated with spiced crackers) served with lime tartar sauce; and shrimp étouffée with caramelized vegetables.
