Fodor's Review:

A coal cellar in a turn-of-the-20th-century home was dug out, its stone walls and floor polished, and a restaurant created in what has become a dining oasis for locals and international jet-setters alike. The menu of more than 20 pasta dishes gives a tantalizing tug at the taste buds. Gnocchi is made daily. Cornish hen is marinated, pressed, and grilled to a juicy brown, and the swordfish and fresh fish of the day are beautifully done on the grill.

My wife and I had a terrible experience. Had a reservation at 8:30. Showed up early for a drink. No bar. No seats. Left by 9 after it was clear no table was forthcoming. Seemed to be an every night occurance - over sell, and under deliver. Very crowded with self-absorbed yuppies, claustrophic really, noisy, and uncomfortable. Awful night, and no one seemed to care.

Can't figure out what the hype is all about. Room is cozy and service was good to great. But the food was mediocre and expensive.
